Meet Our Team

Tony Ringham

Owner

Prior to opening Precision Imports in 2006, Tony attended Universal Technical Institute in Chicago, where he graduated first in his class. He also finished first in his class at the Mercedes-Benz Star certification graduate program. As owner, service writer, and shop manager, Tony has a lot on his plate. Since Precision Imports started with just Tony on staff, he’s very proud of the growth, the customer relationships, and the great attitude and knowledge of his technicians. Communication and connection (besides being mechanically gifted) have been crucial to their success. In his free time, Tony enjoys reading WWII history, current affairs, and other books and enjoying an occasional glass of whiskey at the lake with friends and family.

Jennifer Ringham

Co-owner

Jennifer Ringham joined Precision Imports in 2018. As a small business owner, she's worn many hats - owner, service writer, parts manager, workflow specialist, car porter, marketing director, and more. Jennifer is proud of the intelligent and capable crew they’ve assembled at Precision Imports. Self-motivated, self-directing team members who repair import vehicles right the first time are a testament to their leadership. Precision Imports has grown steadily and rapidly since 2018, expanding training while creating better organization and processes. Jennifer reads books, listens to podcasts, enjoys some exercise, and spends time with her friends and family in her free time.

Fam has been using this mechanic for years. Great local shop. These guys catch things other mechanics will miss. My A/C in my car was out for 3 years despite having it fixed twice by a different mechanic. Tony figured out what was actually wrong and promptly fixed a years long saga of no cold air! It's hard to find an honest mechanic- don't sleep on this one if you're looking!

Tony has been great to work with and will always fully explain to be sure customers are up to speed. Bought a fleet vehicle from him with extremely detailed reports of all the work that has been completed. Have also worked with him on problem solving many automotive failures. He is one of very few techs I truly trust and will always go above and beyond to point you in the right direction. Truly diagnosis, and only uses quality parts. I would highly recommend using Precision Imports!

This small town shop knows their stuff. Trust them for your fine German automobile maintenance and repair. Took my A8L in for some work and was very impressed. As of this writing, their shop labor rate is $90/HR. Much better than dealer rates! Loaner cars available too! Very friendly family business and a spacious and CLEAN shop and customer waiting area. Highly recommended.

Tony and his team are excellent! Took my '03 M5 there to have the timing chain replaced. They kept me in the loop the entire time, brought any other concerns they had to my attention, and worked with me throughout the entire process and prices were extremely reasonable. My BMWs have found their home for intense repair work!

OMG best decision I made. After talking to Tony on the phone, I drove from Nebraska to Minnesota and traded in my Land Rover LR3 for a newer Land Rover LR4 he had. You will never find a more spotless auto shop anywhere or a more honest car dealer. I wish I lived closer so he could do the maintenance on my vehicle, darn.
