Meet Our Team

Tony Ringham

Owner

Prior to opening Precision Imports in 2006, Tony attended Universal Technical Institute in Chicago, where he graduated first in his class. He also finished first in his class at the Mercedes-Benz Star certification graduate program. As owner, service writer, and shop manager, Tony has a lot on his plate. Since Precision Imports started with just Tony on staff, he’s very proud of the growth, the customer relationships, and the great attitude and knowledge of his technicians. Communication and connection (besides being mechanically gifted) have been crucial to their success. In his free time, Tony enjoys reading WWII history, current affairs, and other books and enjoying an occasional glass of whiskey at the lake with friends and family.

Jennifer Ringham

Co-owner

Jennifer Ringham joined Precision Imports in 2018. As a small business owner, she's worn many hats - owner, service writer, parts manager, workflow specialist, car porter, marketing director, and more. Jennifer is proud of the intelligent and capable crew they’ve assembled at Precision Imports. Self-motivated, self-directing team members who repair import vehicles right the first time are a testament to their leadership. Precision Imports has grown steadily and rapidly since 2018, expanding training while creating better organization and processes. Jennifer reads books, listens to podcasts, enjoys some exercise, and spends time with her friends and family in her free time.

First impression, Wow! Can a mechanic shop be beautiful?! Awesome, meticulously well kept business. Makes me comfortable leaving my car with them knowing they care about the appearance and cleanliness of their business and will do the same with my vehicle. Reasonable scheduling times! Beyond being the cleanest shop ever, the staff is also what makes this place. Quite a difference from the dealer experience, as you're able to see them work on your car in the lounge. I really liked being able to talk directly with the technician working on your car and gaining perspective into what's going on. True transparency in my opinion, and they seem very flexible for scheduling. You can basically call and come in the same or next day. I did not take advantage of their loaner cars, as I like to wait and now even more being part of the experience and watching my car being worked on. I will definitely be bringing all my VW and Audi cars to Precision for servicing, very pleased and no more long drives to the cities !

After a coworker told me about this shop, I brought my daughter's Audi Q3 in for an oil change and what I thought needed to be a rear and front brake replacement. Jesse gave me a call after they inspected the car to let me know that the front brakes were in great shape and didn't need to be done, just the rear could use replacing. I so appreciate the honest assessment! Some other shops would have just replaced them and charge me for work that wasn't necessary! I received another call from Jesse when the work was complete to go over the work they did. Their online payment process was smooth and convenient. Although we live 50 minutes away, it was worth the drive! Their rates were very reasonable and competitive compared to the Audi dealer and other import shops I got quotes from! Tony and his team went above and beyond to get our vehicle up and running. Our family of six was three hours into a six hour drive to northern Minnesota when our vehicle started malfunctioning. Luckily we were a few miles away from Precision Imports so we pulled into the shop. It was a Saturday so they weren’t open. We texted the number on the building and were texted back immediately. They coordinated two loaner vehicles to us so we could stay at a hotel until they opened on Monday. Tony offered support and recommendations to us all weekend to ensure we were taken care of until our vehicle could be repaired. He got us up and running first thing on Monday. We have never experienced such incredible customer service. Now I just wish we lived closer so they could be a regular mechanic! Thank you to Tony and their crew for making an extremely stressful experience far more manageable. Highly recommend this business!!
